It’s confirmed: The Drowsy Drivers, dormant since their last performance of KEATING! in late September 2006, will return to Adelaide for a one-week stint as the house band at the Festival Club of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. There will be quizzes, fizzes and quantabulous whizzes, strange covers and perhaps the first loosely-stapled-together set of odds’n’ends Drowsies originals played since Northcote Country Soul (in 2002) pretended to be anything other than a loosely-stapled-together set of odds’n’ends Drowsies originals.
