SYDNEY, August 1 – The Drowsy Drivers struck another blow for the
forces of scurrilous rumour and intimidation last night, as KEATING!
won Best Original Score at the prestigious Helpmann Awards.
Having once again based their awards campaign upon the slander of their
highly-fancied opposition, the Drowsies were elated. Writer Casey
Bennetto’s stirring speech showed all of the eloquence that had
catapulted the show to victory: "For sure, something like this, right,
it says that if you, you know, if you’re, like, you know, you can go
‘hey’ and everyone’s like ‘cool’ and that, so, y’know, cool, it’s
